----------------------- additional note: Grief and Sorrow was played during Hokage's funeral day (episode 80). It's pretty long scenes and the score was played completely. You can find the scene at YouTube (http:// www. youtube. com/ watch?v= Dw5YdTUbjVc) [remove the spaces] However, I think the score in the album (which is my resource) is quite different from that scene's sound. In the album's version, the piano and the violin are clearly played while in the animation, I think I can sense the keyboards as additional instrument.
A friend of mine told me, when he heard this song during our rehearsal for Music Demo, that he would like to 'hear' this song in his funeral. I spontaneously agreed
I'm telling you that this isn't the full sheet ,if you hear it you will understand what I'm talking about . And about the chords you can make them easily on Sibelius and not waste your time...I have no problemwith you I just noticed these things
you mean i didn't write for each instrument in that music score?
the sheets I write are commonly called as 'lead sheet music' which means the writer only write the main tunes with chords written on the top of each respective place.
this is more simple and clear enough for any type of musician to play. about the accompaniment sounds, since it can be played freely, becomes my reason to leave only chords there. with minimum help, I want people to train their hearing, interpretation, and arrangement skill.
i usually do it with my clavinova piano since it has ability to automatically name the chords i played. But for the the main tune, I can work it directly with sibelius. but still, the final check is using my piano.
chords had been written up on the respective bars. I cannot waste my time by transfering everything one by one, since i didn't do in MIDI but literally wrote each note.
in my pack (the zipped file), you will only find 1 page which already covered everything. so i don't understand about '3 pages' as you mentioned. maybe other transcribers did 3 pages, i only made it in one page
